Our Approach
Our goal is to intervene in organizations and systems that
are in a state of flux in order to help leaders identify, commit to and put
into practice truly sustainable options for the future. The shape of each consulting engagement is
unique, arising from the client’s needs and circumstances.
In most cases, our initial role is to host conversations
that allow individuals and groups to:
- Understand as deeply as possible their current
situation and the sets of agreements that created it
- Listen to their own intuitive voices that are often
silenced by the pace of daily life and the given structure of “the way things
are”
- Ask: What
if? What if we could create the most
effective and inspiring solution for all concerned? What would that look like?
- Explore the agreements that would need to be
made in order to set the stage for that possibility
- Develop their capacities to make the new
agreements, especially the capacities for for deep listening, dialogue and making
changes in their thinking and behavior
Once the initial analysis and future vision are created, we
then move to the phase of practical execution, during which we help clients to:
- Build relationships and alliances among
stakeholders that will enable effective collaboration
- Commit to agreements that reflect the highest
values of all stakeholders and the greatest leverage for success
- Put the agreements into action through clear
strategies and plans, formulated with a view to how the whole system works
- Develop the necessary internal culture and skills
of leadership and teamwork
- Take
responsibility for the on-going revitalization
of their relationships, agreements and strategies
